Mr. Dan M. Harris, Jr. age 86 of Troy died Friday, July 6, 2012 in Montgomery. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Perry Green officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home. He is survived by his daughter Rebecca H. Fowee of Troy, a son and daughter-in-law Dan M. (Sherry J.) Harris, III of Montgomery, his grandchildren Christi H. (AL) Nix of Prattville, Joy H. (Clint) Allen of Centre, AL., his great grandchildren Katie Elizabeth Harris, Haylee Crimson Baggett , Brayden Baggett, and Brody Baggett, Anna Kathryn Allen, Emily Lynn Allen, Cooper Allen, Mary Charlotte Allen, a sister Annette (Paul) Boswell and a niece Paula (Robert) Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his Wife Sylvia Elizabeth Harris, and his parents Dan and Ella Cleone Williford Harris. Mr. Harris was an avid fisherman and hunter, he was a member of the Shrine Club and an Army Air force Veteran of WWII. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Baraca Class at the First Baptist Church of Troy
